Senior Band - Midlands First Section

The Senior Band's aim is to continue to perform and develop to the highest possible standards, pushing the boundaries of the traditional brass movement, and taking the sound of brass and percussion to new audiences through innovation. Music selection is key to expanding the appeal, and the band is active in performing a mix of traditional and modern pieces.

The band currently competes in the first section, attracting players from across the Midlands to rehearse twice weekly (Tuesday and Friday, 8-10pm behind Huncote Leasure Center). There is a healthy mix of youth and experience; players who have come through the system from the successful Enderby Youth Band, complimented by players who have studied and still study at leading Music Colleges and who have played with other well respected bands.
